Hamllet NEW GAME join now..

New game Hamllet, be one of the first to join only started today so expect a few bugs etc. More info will follow in the coming days once i have had chance to get my own head around it. Seems pretty similar to most other games of this genre.

Typical town builder with arena, battles and marketplace thats all i know for now literally joined myself 5 minutes ago!!

Update 1/02/2015

Ok so i have been playing this game now for the last week, if i am completely honest i am about ready to give up, it appears to suceed you have no real option but to invest money. This makes it a no go for me.

The game has not attracted that many members so it would appear that i am not the only one who seems to think this, everything is quite slow, you have to collect resources every 6 hours to collect the goods you need to be able to upgrade buildings and buy units for your army.

Everything is a bit cheap looking and the servers are not the best sometimes really slow and it takes a fair bit of time to understand how it all works. Forums are pretty empty apart from the usual questions, link to the documentation that you are supposed to read beforehand don't actually work even though that is the main answer to every question in the forums (READ THE DOCUMENTATION).

Well thats my few pennies worth on Hamllet, can safely say i will not be continuing playing this game.

Tips and Advice

I will soon be going through all the games listed so far and adding content to all of them regarding tips, tricks and strategies. The information will be free for all to see, if anyone finds any of the information helpful or have some advice or tips themselves please feel free to post them or leave a message.

Just a short one for today as i need to go and get my team ready on Goaltycoon for the first match of the new season in the top division. Good luck to everyone else who has a team for the upcoming season.

Also i am currently trying out another new game, only been a week so far. Will give it a bit more time then i will post and add another page with my thoughts and links etc regarding the game.

Enjoy your weekend.

Goal Tycoon End of Season

Now is the time to join Goaltycoon, end of the season is here and teams are resting up for the new season which starts tomorrow. So get signed up and see how you do. It is free to register and you will be allocated a team within 24 hours. Send me a pm if you need any help at the start.

Has been a good season for me i have now been promoted to the top division and getting ready for the new season to begin. I received a nice bonus at the end of the season for winning my previous league outright to the sum of 188k GBP, obviously that is in game currency!! I have been gradually upgrading my buildings with winnings during the season and all of my players have been training nicely throughout the season so i think it is fair to say i have a good chance of remaining in league 1 for a while, not going to get carried away and say i can win it because that is going to take a bit more time and effort yet!

I did manage to get to the last 16 in the National Cup and the last 128 of the Continental Cup both of which you will concentrate more on once you have got the hang of how things work and your team gets better and stronger. You also receive nice bonuses for taking part in the various cup games as well.

Obviously there are deductions as in real life you have to pay taxes. As you can also see here you receive bonuses for winning matches which get bigger the higher the league you are in and not forgetting a percentage of what your referrals earn as well, so the better they do the more you benefit yourself so as i have offered previously anyone that wishes to join using my link i will help out and give advice.

To give you a rough idea of the in game currency it is broken down in to three parts:

Local currency = GBP for me as from the UK
Gold
Euro's

Take for example my winnings at the end of the season it works something like this, these are not correct to the penny but near enough.

188,110,92gbp - taxes etc = 122272.1gbp/450 = 271 gold
271 gold = roughly 2.5 Euro's

So basically i won 2.5 Euro's just for winning the league last season, that does not include all the ticket receipts from games played, cup bonuses, victory bonuses and selling of players. Not bad for spending 30 minutes everyday if that to make sure the team is ready. A season lasts 30 days then there is a break of one day then a new season starts again.

Online gaming - Wiki information

Browser games

As the World Wide Web developed and browsers became more sophisticated, people started creating browser games that used a web browser as a client. Simple single player games were made that could be played using a web browser via HTML and HTML scripting technologies (most commonly JavaScript, ASP, PHP and MySQL). More complicated games such as Legend of Empires or Travian would contact a web server to allow a multiplayer gaming environment.
The development of web-based graphics technologies such as Flash and Java allowed browser games to become more complex. These games, also known by their related technology as "Flash games" or "Java games", became increasingly popular. Many games originally released in the 1980s, such as Pac-Man and Frogger, were recreated as games played using the Flash plugin on a webpage. Most browser games had limited multiplayer play, often being single player games with a high score list shared amongst all players. This has changed considerably in recent years as examples like Castle of Heroes or Canaan Online show.
Browser-based pet games are popular amongst the younger generation of online gamers. These games range from gigantic games with millions of users, such as Neopets, to smaller and more community-based pet games.
More recent browser-based games use web technologies like Ajax to make more complicated multiplayer interactions possible and WebGL to generate hardware-accelerated 3D graphics without the need for plugins.

Online game

An online game is a video game played over some form of computer network. This network is usually the internet or equivalent technology, but games have always used whatever technology was current: modems before the Internet, and hard wired terminals before modems. The expansion of online gaming has reflected the overall expansion of computer networks from small local networks to the internet and the growth of internet access itself. Online games can range from simple text based environments to games incorporating complex graphics and virtual worlds populated by many players simultaneously. Many online games have associated online communities, making online games a form of social activity beyond single player games.

Massively multiplayer online game

A massively multiplayer online game (also called MMO and MMOG) is a multiplayer video game which is capable of supporting large numbers of players simultaneously. By necessity, they are played on the Internet. MMOs usually have at least one persistent world, however some games differ. These games can be found for most network-capable platforms, including the personal computer, video game console, or smartphones and other mobile devices.
MMOGs can enable players to cooperate and compete with each other on a large scale, and sometimes to interact meaningfully with people around the world. They include a variety of gameplay types, representing many video game genres.

What is RCE?? (Real Cash Economy)

  • Real Cash Economies are virtual currencies within a game that can be exchanged for actual money, Euro's seems to be the most popular.
  • These virtual currencies are normally in virtual worlds and earned through playing the game.
  • These virtual currencies allow you to earn money that you can then spend in game and/or in real life.
  • The way these currencies work correctly, is by making the currency equal only a percent of a base currency in real life, for example a virtual dollar may only be worth .15% of an actual dollar.
  • If you enjoy playing games, have a lot of time on your hands and want to make money I would advise you play multiple real cash economy games so that you increase the amount of income you get per game.
  • Most Real Cash Economy Games are Free to Play.

Earn Real Money Gaming Online

Hi there, my name is Adi and i live in the UK. I am going to be looking at different ways of earning a bit of extra cash or maybe even a lot by playing games online. I think it is fair to say we all would not mind a little extra cash every now and again.

Some of you may not be aware that there are actually games on the internet, usually browser based that given time and effort you can actually make some money from. I will state from the beginning that the games mentioned within this blog do not require you to invest to join up or even make money, all investing money in to these games does is help you progress a bit quicker.

Most of the games that are going to be mentioned on this blog i either play and have been for the last year or i am looking in to them to see what options are available.

If you currently play or are looking in to playing any of the games mentioned please feel free to leave your thoughts, ideas and suggestions or even ask for advice.

If you know of a game that is not mentioned here leave me a message and i will take a look at it, maybe even give them a go.
